Job Description

Responsibilities

  • GROW Vita Coco’s European Instagram and TikTok channels, building audience, engagement, relevance and distinctiveness.
  • Manage our content calendars across owned social channels, ensuring content is aligned with the Digital team and wider marketing plans to champion our coconut water mission.
  • Produce social-first content across Reels, TikTok, Stories and paid social – whether that’s a one-off in-house piece with our interns, or a full-scale shoot travelling across Europe.
  • Spot what is working culturally across platforms in Europe, from formats and creators to humour, aesthetics, communities and behaviours.
  • Translate cultural and platform trends into ideas that feel right for Vita Coco - not just social for the sake of it, but understanding the ultimate commercial outcome too.
  • Build recurring formats and content franchises in line with our content strategy that make our channels feel more recognisable and worth coming back to.
  • Bring a strong, varied and pan-European cultural taste to the role, helping shape what Vita Coco should stand for online.
  • Manage a network of photographers, videographers, editors, designers, creators and production partners across Europe.
  • Lead the day-to-day production of social content, from scrappy iPhone shoots to more polished editorial-style productions.
  • Brief and manage in-house and external creatives, helping them produce their best work for Vita Coco’s brand channels - creating content yourself if needed, especially reactive content and quick-turnaround ideas.

Requirements

  • Experience in social content, creative production, creator management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, paid social and platform-native content.
  • Strong cultural taste and a clear point of view on what feels funny, useful, stylish, weird, timely or worth sharing.
  • A creative mindset, with the organisational skills to manage networks, stakeholders, budgets and timelines.
  • Confident briefing and managing creatives, creators, editors, videographers and freelancers.
  • Comfortable turning loose ideas into shootable concepts and finished assets.
  • Able to balance brand consistency with platform-native creative freedom.
  • Confident using data, comments and audience response to shape future content.
  • Comfortable being behind the camera and, when needed, in front of it, if the time calls for it.
  • Happy to travel and get stuck in at shoots, events and activations.

Preferred

  • A growing black book of photographers, videographers, editors, designers, creators and creative collaborators.
  • Natural confidence building creative networks, from finding talent online to asking “who shot that?” at events.
  • Experience producing content across multiple European markets.
  • Experience working with paid social teams or UGC creator networks.
  • An eye for emerging cultural spaces, communities and aesthetics that brands are not overusing yet.

Benefits

  • 30 days holiday, plus your birthday off!
  • Flexible working hours + early Friday finishes all year round* - more balance, less clock-watching.
  • Discretionary bonus - all permanent employees are eligible.
  • Competitive pension - up to 8% employer contribution / 10% employee contribution.
