Job Summary

Own end-to-end paid search for a portfolio of iGaming clients, balancing hands-on optimization with strategic advisory, team mentorship, and platform collaboration to lift performance and ensure scalable workflows.

Own Paid Search: manage Google Ads campaigns, daily checks, and KPI-driven optimisation.
People & Process: mentor up to two direct reports and enforce best practices across accounts.
Strategy & Partnerships: develop plans with Head of Paid Media and stay ahead with Google/Microsoft strategists and AI tooling.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Creating, managing, and optimising paid search campaigns across Google Ads — always with a sharp eye on performance against KPIs
Owning day-to-day client communication across your portfolio — building trusted relationships and providing strategic advice, not just reporting numbers
Developing paid search strategy plans in collaboration with the Head of Paid Media — contributing your own thinking at every stage
Conducting daily account checks to identify issues and opportunities before clients do
Managing and developing up to two direct reports — supporting their growth through regular 1-1s, constructive feedback, and hands-on guidance
Ensuring paid search best practices are implemented consistently across all managed campaigns and by your direct reports
Liaising with Google and Microsoft strategists to stay ahead of platform developments and maximise account performance
Using AI tooling to improve campaign efficiency and automate repeatable processes
Contributing to new business proposals, paid search audits, and award entries
Keeping Google Ads certification current

Requirements

3+ years\' paid search experience, ideally agency-side, with proven results managing Google Ads at scale
Strong campaign creation and optimisation experience — you know what good looks like and you can prove it
Google Ads certified — current and maintained
Strong client relationship management skills — you present with confidence and handle difficult conversations without escalating everything
Solid campaign planning capabilities — budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across multiple accounts simultaneously
Experience managing or mentoring direct reports — you\'ve developed people, not just worked alongside them
Commercially minded and analytically strong — you work with data confidently and translate it into clear strategic recommendations
Comfortable using AI tooling to improve campaign efficiency and workflow automation

Preferred

iGaming or regulated-sector experience — we\'ll get you up to speed if not
Microsoft Ads certified or actively working towards it
Experience liaising directly with Google or Microsoft platform partners
Contribution to new business proposals, audits, or award entries
Experience training others internally on paid search best practices
