Responsibilities

• Lead Viridor’s media, social media and stakeholder relations activity to strengthen reputation and support our social licence to operate.
• Manage national and trade media engagement, press handling and reputational risk.
• Own corporate social channels and deliver high-quality content that amplifies our narrative.
• Build strong relationships with journalists, industry bodies and key stakeholders.
• Drive local PR around sites to improve community sentiment.
• Support senior leadership profiling and play a central role in crisis and incident communications.
• Ensure all external communications meet legal, regulatory and brand standards.
