Job Description

Responsibilities

Developing and delivering proactive media campaigns that support business priorities and enhance our reputation
Identifying opportunities within the news agenda and turning them into compelling stories
Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists across a range of media outlets
Supporting reactive media management, providing timely and effective responses to emerging issues
Creating engaging content and identifying opportunities for thought leadership
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and the wider business to deliver impactful communications

Requirements

Has experience working in a busy media relations or press office environment
Has excellent news judgement and can spot opportunities for proactive storytelling
Is passionate about strategic communications and reputation management
Can work confidently at pace, managing competing priorities and responding to changing situations
Brings creativity, curiosity and fresh ideas to the team
Is a strong collaborator who enjoys working as part of a high-performing team
