Job Summary

Own media relations support focused on turning inquiries into timely, accurate responses while coordinating across teams and building journalist relationships.

  • Own media contact point and coordinate responses with Media Managers to drive timely, accurate messaging.
  • Build journalist/producers relationships and manage day-to-day admin to keep the team operating smoothly.
  • Collaborate across teams to relay complex or sensitive information clearly and support international affairs and UK political coverage.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • can produce quick, accurate, compelling communications for a range of audiences, including the ability to relay complex or sensitive information succinctly and clearly to journalists
  • can collaborate confidently across teams and communicate clearly with colleagues, spokespeople and journalists alike
  • are a self-starter able to work independently and drive work forwards with minimal supervision
  • good knowledge in international affairs, human rights and the UK political system
