Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day social media activity — planning, scheduling, and posting across our channels
• Create content using tools such as Canva, including captions, graphics, and basic visuals
• Assist with copy updates across our company websites, keeping pages accurate, on-brand, and engaging
• Support local marketing initiatives including community events, sponsorship opportunities, and business partnerships
• Liaise with external partners such as SEO, PR, and radio contacts
• Help plan and coordinate campaigns across multiple channels
• Monitor activity and provide straightforward performance updates
• Maintain consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints

Requirements

• Some experience in a marketing, communications, or content role
• Strong written communication skills and an eye for detail
• Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple priorities
• Confident using social media platforms and tools like Canva
• Based in or around Falmouth or wider Cornwall

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Cornwall business community
• Experience with events, partnerships, or local sponsorship
• Any exposure to SEO, PR, or paid media
• Experience editing website content (training provided if not)
