Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media
  • Manage our social media accounts day to day and continue to develop our online voice
  • Plan, build and schedule content calendars across LinkedIn, Facebook, X and other relevant channels
  • Run and monitor both organic and paid campaigns, managing spend against budget
  • Engage with our audience, respond to comments and messages, and flag anything needing wider attention
  • Content Production
  • Create written and visual content — posts, stories, blogs, case studies, photography and short-form video
  • Capture content on site and at customer locations where the opportunity arises
  • Keep website content current, accurate and optimised for search
  • Maintain a usable library of imagery, copy and brand assets for the wider business

Requirements

  • Around two years' marketing experience, with a solid and demonstrable understanding of marketing channels
  • Confident managing business social media accounts, including paid activity
  • Hands-on experience with Mailchimp or a comparable email marketing platform
  • Strong design skills in Canva or similar — graphics, simple animations and print-ready artwork
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to adapt tone for very different audiences
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Comfortable with numbers and reporting — able to pull figures together and explain what they mean
  • Genuinely organised, able to juggle several projects and hit deadlines without being chased
  • A full UK driving licence, or the means to travel to events and sites

Preferred

  • A degree in a business, marketing or arts subject, or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Working knowledge of SEO and PPC
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photography or video editing skills
  • Experience organising exhibitions or trade events
  • Website content management experience (WordPress or similar)
  • B2B, manufacturing or industrial sector experience
