Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Calendar Upkeep: Maintain and continuously update the central Marketing Calendar, ensuring every post, campaign, and content idea is logged with a clear date, owner, status, and category without gaps.
  • Content Drafting & Asset Coordination: Log new content ideas from internal stakeholders and partners, prepare first-draft copy for routine posts in the company’s brand voice, organise final assets in structured cloud drives, and link files back to tracking dashboards for executive review.
  • Events Administration & Logistics: Populate the Events Budgeting Toolkit with objectives, target audiences, cost estimates, and key deadlines; assist Event Owners with venue bookings, guest list tracking, supplier coordination, and Microsoft Planner task execution.
  • Records, Approvals & Reporting: Maintain structured approval records, live publication links, performance metrics, and post-event reviews; compile monthly commercial forum one-page summary reports.
  • Brand & Process Governance: Enforce brand voice guidance across routine content, follow strict RACI approval processes prior to publication, and proactively escalate urgent or high-risk items to executive management.

Requirements

  • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Planner, SharePoint / OneDrive) familiarity; familiarity with content scheduling trackers, social media tools, or design platforms (e.g., Canva) is desirable
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple trackers, folders, and event deadlines simultaneously without losing track of approval workflows
  • Strong written copy skills in plain English with the ability to adopt and maintain a specific corporate brand voice across routine communications
  • Entrepreneurial and precise, identifying gaps in calendars or toolkits early, fixing outdated tracker entries, and politely prompting stakeholders to maintain record integrity
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative, coordination, marketing, or events support role (including placements, internships, or professional services settings)
  • Previous exposure to supporting marketing content, PR, or corporate events within financial services, insurance, or professional services environments
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths required; coursework or formal qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Event Management are desirable

Preferred

  • Familiarity with content scheduling trackers, social media tools, or design platforms (e.g., Canva) is desirable
