Job Summary

Own the UK & Ireland animal health marketing agenda with end-to-end ownership of strategy, budget, and team execution, driving growth, margin, and NOAH-compliant practices.

  • Omnichannel strategy: product launches, analytics, forecasting, and customer experience across animal portfolios.
  • Commercial alignment: partner with GM, CFO, Sales, and Technical Services to convert activity into top-line growth and margin expansion.
  • Leadership: build and coach a 20+ person marketing team, ensure talent development, and align with NOAH and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual UK & Ireland marketing strategy, brand plans, and long-range profit forecasts across companion animal and farm animal portfolios, using market insights, portfolio prioritisation, and return-on-investment analysis to drive growth and market share.
  • Lead omnichannel marketing strategy, including digital health tools, e-commerce platforms, customer segmentation, advanced analytics, and forecasting to improve customer experience and execution of major product launches.
  • Partner with the General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Sales, and Head of Technical Services to align commercial priorities, manage marketing operating expense budgets, guide pricing and product mix decisions, and convert marketing activity into top-line growth and margin expansion.
  • Build and lead a high-performing UK & Ireland marketing organisation of 20+ team members, with 9-11 direct reports, through coaching, talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Represent the UK & Ireland affiliate with international marketing teams and external stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), while ensuring marketing practices comply with the National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) Code of Practice and applicable laws.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in animal health or a similar regulated industry.
  • Experience leading large marketing organisations, including teams of 20+ people across managers and individual contributors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a significant profit and loss (P&L) and marketing operating expense budget.
  • Strong strategic marketing capability across omnichannel execution, advanced analytics, and marketing compliance, including the National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) Code of Practice and applicable laws.
Preferred
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification.
  • Experience leading major product launches in a competitive animal health, veterinary, or livestock environment.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Technical teams on pricing, portfolio optimisation, and commercial planning.
