Job Summary

Own the marketing engine for a technical B2B business by shaping strategy, brand, and demand across markets while building a capable team and systems for measurable growth.

  • Strategic ownership: set marketing direction with clear objectives tied to commercial goals and long-term growth
  • Channel and brand leadership: run cross-market messaging, content, and demand programs that support sales and engagement
  • Team and systems: build coaching, governance, and marketing tech (CRM/automation) to enable data-driven decisions and scalable delivery

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver Labman's marketing strategy, aligned with commercial objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Champion and develop the Labman brand across all markets and channels
  • Create targeted marketing plans with clear objectives, actions, and measurable outcomes
  • Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates Labman in complex technical and scientific markets
  • Work closely with sales and business unit leaders to support demand generation, lead quality, and customer engagement
  • Use market insight, customer understanding, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategy
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the marketing team, building capability and supporting professional growth
  • Establish clear objectives, standards, and accountability within the team
  • Oversee the delivery of content-led and campaign-driven marketing activity across appropriate channels
  • Ensure all marketing outputs are commercially relevant, technically credible, and aligned with Labman's brand standards

Requirements

  • Significant experience in B2B marketing within technical, engineering, scientific, or industrial sectors
  • Proven experience leading and developing marketing teams
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approach
  • Experience creating and delivering marketing strategies that support commercial growth
  • Strong understanding of demand generation, lead nurturing, and customer engagement
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to analyse data and turn insights into effective marketing activity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset
