Job Description
Responsibilities
- Development of all events within a predetermined portfolio, including, but not limited to:
- research of policy areas
- agenda creation
- recruitment and management of speakers.
- Act as project manager for the portfolio of events, ensuring actions and deliverables are met by all members of the team (Event Operations, Marketing, Sales).
- Identification and management of key partner relationships in predefined policy areas.
- Identification of new event opportunities in a range of policy areas.
- Support the Marketing team with compelling and engaging content and copy.
- Support Sales to identify new commercial opportunities in all policy areas and generate new revenue streams within event formats.
- Support Event Operations in the preparation of event admin, logistics and AV activities.
Requirements
- A degree in politics, policy, public affairs or communications or relevant experience in a similar role.
- MS Office.
Preferred
- Knowledge of, or a willingness to develop knowledge in, public sector technology and digital transformation would be highly beneficial.
