Job Summary

Drive in-store engagement and digital marketing to grow Cockburns\' wine sales, blending customer experience, merchandising, and data-driven optimization across store and online channels.

  • In-store and brand engagement: advise customers and deliver memorable experiences that convert into sales.
  • Store operations and merchandising: maintain stock, pricing, and visual presentation while processing transactions via EPOS.
  • Digital marketing and analytics: create campaigns and offers, analyze results, and report insights to leadership with actionable recommendations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create visually eye-catching marketing campaigns and website offers
  • Create contents and drive engagement with the Cockburns brand to increase product sales
  • Analyse and report the results of digital marketing efforts with recommendations to the General Manager
  • Promote growing online wine sales and manage media outlets
  • Advise customers in-store to ensure a memorable customer experience
  • Ensure the store is well stocked, visually merchandised, and priced accurately
  • Process transactions through EPOS system and card payments
  • Assist with in-house or external tasting events as needed
  • You will also contribute to delivering exceptional customer service in-store
  • Participate in training/role development activities (WSET levels 1 & 2 provided)

Requirements

  • advanced IT skills
  • experience with WooCommerce
  • WordPress
  • Mailchimp
  • website maintenance
  • good working knowledge of all wines and spirits sold in the shop
  • ability to lift and move full boxes of wines and spirits
  • experience with EPOS system (sales & payments) and card payments
  • availability for five days per week with some rotational weekend work
  • hybrid/onsite availability and flexibility to work outside contracted hours on tasting events
