Digital Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Exeter office on a full-time and permanent basis. As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting and delivering the firm's digital marketing activity. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects that contribute directly to the firm's growth and brand profile, including managing and updating our website, social media content creation, digital advertising, analytics, and video and podcast production. Working closely with colleagues across the Marketing team and wider business, you'll help ensure Ashfords maintains a best-in-class digital presence, creating engaging content and supporting campaigns that connect with existing and prospective clients. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across the full digital marketing mix while developing specialist skills in areas that interest you.

Requirements

• You will ideally have previous experience in a digital marketing role or hold a relevant marketing qualification. The successful candidate will be a confident content creator with excellent B2B copywriting skills, able to turn complex information into engaging and accessible online content. You will have experience in website management and using CMS platforms, as well as running social media channels, preferably LinkedIn and Instagram.
• You will also be passionate about graphic design and content creation, with experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. You'll have a creative mindset and an up-to-date understanding of digital marketing trends and best practice, alongside knowledge of digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to support the delivery of effective marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
