Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Storytelling & Content Creation
  • Identify and develop compelling stories that showcase the charity's impact.
  • Interview patients and families (with appropriate consent), volunteers, clinicians and students.
  • Write patient stories, case studies, blogs, interviews and news articles.
  • Capture high-quality photography and short-form video content.
  • Maintain a library of testimonials, photography, video and digital assets.
  • Ensure all content complies with GDPR, safeguarding and consent procedures.
  • Website & Digital Communications
  • Manage and update the charity's website using WordPress or a similar CMS.
  • Publish regular news, events and campaign content.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing, communications or content creation.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing websites using WordPress or similar CMS.
  • Experience managing social media platforms.
  • Experience using Canva and Mailchimp (or similar platforms).
  • Good photography skills.
  • Experience creating short-form video content.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Friendly, confident and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Desirable: Experience in the charity, healthcare or education sector.
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Experience using CRM databases.
  • Basic video editing skills.
