Job Summary

Own the face in short-form education content by appearing on camera, recording for TikTok/Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts, and interviewing students and families to drive engagement.

  • Content Ownership: on-camera production and interview-led storytelling for audience reach.
  • Content Innovation: develop trend-based ideas to boost engagement and virality.
  • Weekly Execution: collaborate with the Social Media Manager to implement content plans and maintain consistency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Appearing on camera for social media content
  • Recording short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
  • Interviewing students, parents and staff where appropriate
  • Presenting educational, promotional and behind-the-scenes content
  • Bringing creative ideas to improve engagement and reach
  • Working alongside our Social Media Manager to execute weekly content plans
  • Helping create viral and trend-based content relevant to our audience

Requirements

  • Is confident and natural on camera
  • Has a strong personality and can engage an audience
  • Understands social media trends and short-form content
  • Has an active social media presence
  • Has an established following on at least one platform (preferred)
  • Is reliable and can commit to all four initial Saturdays
  • Is comfortable working with children and families in an educational environment
  • Has excellent communication skills and positive energy

Nice to Have

  • Have experience as a content creator, influencer, presenter or brand ambassador
  • Have previously grown a social media account
  • Can help identify trends and content opportunities
  • Have experience creating educational or family-focused content
