Job Summary

Own end-to-end social video creation for family audiences, from concept to publish, while shaping recurring formats, responding to trends, coordinating contributors, and deriving insights to improve impact across channels.

Responsibilities

  • Create short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • Plan, film and edit content at attractions, events and family destinations across the UK.
  • Develop useful content that helps families decide what to do, where to go and how to save.
  • Turn Kids Pass offers and partner activity into engaging content, rather than traditional promotional posts.
  • Create recurring formats and series that audiences begin to recognise and return to.
  • Respond quickly to trends, seasonal moments and conversations relevant to UK families.
  • Produce content around school holidays, weekends, rainy days, travel, back-to-school and everyday family spending.
  • Work with parents, families, influencers and content creators to produce authentic user-led content.
  • Brief and coordinate contributors where additional content is required.
  • Repurpose content across social, CRM, paid media, PR and the Kids Pass website.

Requirements

  • Experience creating social-first content for a brand, publisher, agency or your own established channels.
  • Strong short-form video skills, including filming and editing.
  • A good understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and emerging social formats.
  • The ability to identify a strong hook and communicate an idea quickly.
  • Confident, natural copywriting that does not feel overly corporate or sales-led.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and directing other people.
  • Able to balance planned campaigns with fast, reactive content.
  • Good knowledge of social trends and UK family culture.
  • Organised enough to manage multiple shoots, deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding that content should ultimately support customer acquisition, engagement and retention.

Preferred

  • Experience within family, leisure, travel, lifestyle or consumer subscription brands would be useful but is not essential.
  • Being a parent is not a requirement; understanding what makes content useful and relevant to families is.
