Job Summary

Own the cross-market media strategy alignment by translating global plans into local execution, while surfacing audience insights to guide creative and media decisions and sharing learnings across markets.

  • Coordinate with the Global Strategy Director to align global comms strategy with local market input and implementation.
  • Leverage insights teams to deliver audience- and channel-driven recommendations that shape creative and media plans.
  • Foster ongoing collaboration across offices and proactively share trends and desk research to inspire teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Strategy Executive will be part of a dedicated global strategic team, working with the Regional Strategy Lead and Strategy Manager to develop global media strategies, as well as working with the local markets to guide local implementation and share best practice and learning.
  • Support Global Strategy Director and Strategist in the development of global communication strategies. In collaboration with local markets to inform creative development and local media implementation.
  • Working with specialist functions within OpenDoor, especially the insights and innovation specialists, to create compelling audience and channel insights
  • Build relationships with local offices
  • Provide regular inspiration through understanding trends and desk top research
  • Provide continued communication and active support to the team in all issues

Requirements

  • Excellence in communication, presentation and team building
  • Understands data and can represent it accurately, to draw compelling insights from the findings.
  • Clear communication (both upwards and outwards) to ensure that projects progress in advance of upcoming deadlines
  • Ability to manage many projects/tasks at once to meet deadlines
  • Creative approach to problem-solving; always looking for improvements to the way things are done and using logical and well-informed responses to present recommendations
  • Calm approach to managing urgent deadlines, with enthusiasm and interest to go beyond the task
  • Initiative is key, proactively suggesting new projects or next steps to keep tasks moving.

  • Partners and Suppliers: Up to date knowledge of media owners, content owners, production agencies, research companies and other suppliers which Mindshare or our clients can partner with.
