Job Summary

Own the social media presence for Time to Heal Directory, shaping engagement, content quality, and platform-specific optimization to raise awareness and showcase impact for a youth-mental-health-focused not-for-profit.

  • Growth & Engagement: Expand followers and deepen audience interaction across key platforms.
  • Content & Platform Optimization: Create and schedule posts with Canva, tailor content per platform, and build a strong hashtag strategy.
  • Community & Collaboration: Monitor comments/messages and coordinate with the team to highlight impact and stay aligned with current events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Growing our follower base and increasing engagement across key social platforms
  • Creating and scheduling engaging and informative posts using tools like Canva
  • Keeping our social channels up to date and aligned with current events (e.g. Mental Health Awareness Week)
  • Adapting and tailoring content for different platforms
  • Working closely with the team to create content that showcases our impact and activities
  • Developing a strong hashtag strategy to boost reach and visibility
  • Monitoring and responding to comments and direct messages, and forwarding any relevant communications to the team

Requirements

  • Experience using social media platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience in using design tools like Canva or similar
  • Organised and able to schedule content in a timely and strategic manner
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and visual skills
  • Passionate about mental health and the work of not-for-profit organisations

Preferred

  • Interest in youth mental health or experience working with charities is a bonus, but not essential.
