Job Summary

Own social and content strategy for fashion and lifestyle clients, shaping culture-forward narratives on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube while leading influencer activations and cross-functional campaigns that feel authentic.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead culture led social media and content strategies, ensuring direct alignment with clients’ unique value propositions, brand objectives, and diverse target audience aspirations.
  • Drive the ideation, planning, and oversight of platform-native social content, collaborating closely with our Studio team on visual direction, templates, and dynamic asset development for key channels.
  • Lead the execution of social & content strategy as well as elements of influencer execution, developing cohesive campaigns that amplify brand messages and resonate culturally through earned media and authentic partnerships.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of social managers and content creators, fostering their growth, ensuring excellence in content execution, and cultivating a pipeline of fresh, trend-savvy talent.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, translating complex brand challenges into actionable social narratives and guiding them through the evolving digital and social trends relevant to their diverse consumer bases.
  • Transform performance data and market intelligence into compelling insights and actionable strategic recommendations, proactively identifying opportunities for innovative pivots and optimisations based on evolving audience behaviours and fashion trends.
  • Continuously monitor and interpret emerging social media trends, platform evolutions (especially on TikTok and Instagram), and shifts in diverse audience behaviours, applying this knowledge to anticipate client needs and identify competitive advantages.
  • Oversee strategic content calendars and asset management, providing senior-level guidance on content briefs, copy development, and asset recommendations to maintain brand consistency and operational efficiency across multiple regions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in social media and content strategy, with a significant portion gained within a leading agency or an in-house fashion/lifestyle brand setting.
  • Proven, in-depth expertise and strategic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including platform nuances, emerging features, and community engagement for diverse audiences within the fashion/lifestyle sector.
  • Highly desirable to have experience in high-street fashion, understanding its unique market dynamics and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-impact social and content strategies that drive engagement and build brand affinity for fashion and lifestyle brands, understanding diverse consumer segments.
  • Experience collaborating extensively with influence and PR teams to create integrated campaigns that achieve widespread reach and cultural relevance.
  • Track record of building, mentoring, and leading teams of social managers and content creators, fostering a creative and productive environment.
  • Exceptional client management and advisory skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships and persuasively presenting complex strategic frameworks to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, capable of leveraging insights to inform strategy, optimise campaigns, and clearly articulate ROI.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and brand-appropriate voice within the dynamic world of fashion and lifestyle.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment, managing multiple priorities for demanding clients while maintaining strategic oversight and operational excellence.
