Job Summary

Own and govern product positioning from discovery through enablement, shaping how we differentiate across all lines and how external content is crafted in regulated spaces.

  • Positioning ownership: define the framework and enable cross-functional execution for product, marketing, and regional teams.
  • Discovery briefs: craft the differentiation brief before design to steer product framing and messaging.
  • Governance and enablement: approve AI-drafted content and produce battle cards and sales enablement materials.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Own and maintain the positioning framework across all product lines. You set it, product managers and marketing teams execute from it. - Write the differentiation brief at discovery, before the product is designed, not after it ships. - Review and approve all major external content and regulated language before it reaches customers. AI drafts, you govern. - Produce and maintain internal enablement content for Sales, Customer Success, and regional Marketing, battle cards, and positioning guides. Requirements - 5 or more years in product marketing in B2B SaaS or enterprise software - Experience governing AI-generated content as an editor and reviewer, not just a user - Experience writing structured briefs that produce consistent AI output - Experience entering product development at discovery, not at launch - Proven ability to develop enablement content that Sales and Customer Success teams actually use - Comfortable operating without a team beneath you - To be successful in this role you must: Be a strategic thinker who happens to communicate well, not the other way around - To be successful in this role you must: Be energised by a broad autonomous scope without a team directly around you. - To be successful in this role you must: Be genuinely curious about why competitors win or lose - To be successful in this role you must: Have examples of shaping the commercial framing of a product before it was built, not just launching one after it shipped - To be successful in this role you must: Think about AI governance as a quality and risk problem, not just a production shortcut - To be successful in this role you must: Be at home in environments where precision matters, regulated markets, sensitive communications, or anywhere the wrong word creates a real problem Nice to have - Familiarity with KCSIE, FERPA, GDPR and regional child safety frameworks - Background in edtech, school management software, or child safety technology
