Job Summary

Own the product documentation backbone from spec to sell pack, coordinating internal teams and external partners to keep a single, accurate library across multiple ranges and a mid-merge consolidation.

  • Documentation ownership: translate tests and specs into clear, sell-ready documents for BD and specifiers.
  • Coordination: commission and chase third parties to deliver drawings, BIM, testing on schedule.
  • Documentation consolidation: maintain a unified library as Kinley merges two businesses.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Take developed products and produce the complete, ready-to-sell pack: datasheets, DWGs, BIM objects, NBS clauses, certification and installation detail.
  • Translate test results and technical specifications into clear, accurate documents that BD and specifiers can rely on.
  • Commission and coordinate technical work, drawings, BIM, testing, with internal teams and external partners, and keep it on track.
  • Maintain a single, organised library so every product stays fully and accurately specifiable.
  • Support our new product ranges (street furniture, planters, surfacing) where documentation is most needed.
  • Work alongside our innovation team as the technical source, and feed accurate product facts to our business development and content colleagues.
  • Support the consolidation of our product documentation as two businesses merge into one.

Requirements

  • Technical literacy, you can read and brief a drawing, and understand how specification works.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach, you take pride in getting the specifics right.
  • The ability to translate complex technical information into clear, usable documents.
  • Coordination skills, comfortable commissioning and chasing work from third parties to deadline.
  • An interest in products, manufacturing or the built environment.
  • Marketing: 1 year (required)
  • Driving licence and transport, due to location of offices (required)

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing, construction-products, or specification-led business.
  • Familiarity with CAD/DWG, BIM, or NBS specification systems.
  • Exposure to landscape architecture, civil engineering or the public realm.
