Job Summary

Own bid packaging and marketing ops for a small engineering supplier, driving opportunity qualification, tender readiness, and customer-facing content in a regulated environment.

  • Marketing materials, website content, brochures, and case studies aligned to objectives.
  • Bid management: procurement portals, framework opportunities, and tender submissions.
  • Internal coordination: gather bid information from stakeholders and keep content library current.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver marketing materials aligned with company objectives
  • Manage and update the company website and LinkedIn profile
  • Develop engaging content for website, social media, and promotional campaigns
  • Produce high-quality brochures, case studies, and promotional materials
  • Identify, track, and qualify new business opportunities
  • Manage and monitor procurement portals and framework opportunities
  • Support the preparation, formatting, and submission of tender documentation
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities on behalf of the business
  • Support and attend client meetings alongside the Business Development team
  • Maintain and update company documentation, including policies, accreditations, and case studies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a business development, procurement, bid co-ordination, or marketing role
  • Previous marketing experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with clients and representing the business professionally
  • Customer service experience with a professional and responsive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Degree-level education or equivalent

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the social housing sector
  • Understanding of passive fire protection/services
