Responsibilities

• Create and implement a product and communication marketing strategy for all products, maximise brand awareness to key industry decision-makers, and grow our corporate presence.
• Manage external communications through social and industry media for maximum reach, including management of the analytics.
• Manage recording of key contacts and cultivation of potential leads.
• Take ownership of company websites, both UK and worldwide.
• Supervise market surveys and studies either done internally or outsourced.
• Monitor developments in the industry, including competitor communications, competitive mapping and feed back to the board.
• Create all marketing material, digital or not, to support the value proposition.
• Organise presence at regular trade shows and other industry events.
• Liaise and synchronise with the Office Manager on internal communication to promote employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role (at least 5 years).
• Self-starter as this position will create the Marketing department at Meteor.
• Able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in social marketing activities.
• Comfortable with digital marketing.
• Experience of small to medium sized businesses.
• Adept at evaluating competing priorities and focussing on delivery and ownership.
• A natural team player.
• Background in an Environmental or Data Services Industry a plus.
