Job Summary

Own and execute marketing for three busy venues by creating event listings, social content, and weekly packs, while keeping venue information current and supporting audience engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain event listings across agreed platforms (e.g. Headfirst, Facebook Events, Bandsintown, VisitBristol, etc)
  • Create and schedule social posts, reels, stories and carousels in line with the weekly plan
  • Produce weekly and monthly “what’s on” content packs for each venue
  • Support social media engagement and community management (responding to DMs, comments, reshares and collaborations)
  • Keep key digital channel information up to date (opening times, event details, menu changes, etc.)
  • Write marketing copy for channels such as newsletters
  • Create event posters and social assets using agreed templates
  • Ensure in-venue posters are current and replaced when needed
  • Support ongoing marketing admin, keeping folders and trackers organised and up to date

Requirements

  • You have an understanding of and passion for the Bristol music scene, with strong knowledge of music genres
  • You are organised, manage your time well, and have a sharp eye for detail
  • You enjoy content creation and feel confident using social media platforms
  • You’re proactive, flexible and enjoy working at pace across three busy venues
  • You have experience designing posters and creating social content (including reels)
  • You’ll know how to use tools like Photoshop, Canva and CapCut
  • You have strong copywriting skills across digital formats
  • You have a broad understanding of digital marketing and are keen to learn within a small, collaborative team
