Job Summary

Own the EU Fuse growth engine by lead­ing cross functional BD and partner marketing to scale subscription distribution with major European partners and telcos.

  • Own the EU multi year strategy and operating plan for partner led subscriber growth, revenue, and retention.
  • Lead high stakes negotiations and executive stakeholder alignment across Prime, Video, Finance, Legal, and Product.
  • Build the regional GTM and operating cadence with global Fuse, turning local marketplace opportunities into scalable global plays.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the EU Fuse multi-year strategy, setting the vision (and executing on that vision) for how Amazon's subscription services are distributed and grown through partners across all European marketplaces.
  • Forecast and deliver on an operating plan for new partner acquisition, subscriber growth, revenue, and customer retention across the EU portfolio.
  • Serve as the single-threaded leader accountable for EU Fuse outcomes, representing the business to VP-level stakeholders across Amazon (including Prime, Prime Video, Finance, Legal, and Fuse and Amazon Product).
  • Drive the EU's strategic roadmap in lockstep with global Fuse leadership, ensuring regional strategies align with worldwide objectives while capitalising on local marketplace opportunities.
  • Position EU as an innovation hub for the global Fuse organisation‚ pioneering new commercial constructs, products and solutions, partnership models, and GTM approaches that can scale globally, with the intent to drive bold and sustainable distribution plans in the region.
  • Oversee the full BD pipeline across Europe: opportunity identification, partner qualification, term sheet development, complex multi-party negotiations, internal approvals, contract execution, and launch.
  • Drive expansion into new verticals and new commercial frameworks (that unlock incremental scale.
  • Own and cultivate C-suite relationships with Europe's largest telcos, MVPDs, and strategic partners, ensuring Amazon is positioned as a preferred strategic partner.
  • Lead high-stakes, complex negotiations personally for the most strategically important deals while coaching and developing the team on deals where required.
  • Own the EU subscriber growth number delivered through partners‚ setting forecasts, driving a growth strategy, and ensuring best-in-class execution across all partner launches and sustaining campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Progressive experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles within media, telecommunications, technology, or entertainment sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing teams across business development and/or marketing functions.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing complex, multi-million-dollar distribution or partnership agreements at C-suite level.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate ambiguous, high-level objectives into clear, executable plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience managing a P&L or equivalent business ownership with accountability for revenue and growth targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives (VP+) through crisp narratives and data-driven storytelling.

Preferred

  • MBA, or Advanced degree
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
  • Experience in subscription-based business models and/or B2B2C distribution partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of the European telecommunications and media landscape, including regulatory considerations across multiple markets.
  • Experience leading both commercial/BD and marketing organisations, or demonstrable breadth across both disciplines.
  • Fluency in one or more European languages beyond English.
