Job Summary

Own and optimize the end-to-end trading engine for ecommerce fashion, aligning Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to hit forecasts, elevate on-site journeys, and maximize stock-driven revenue.

  • Trading strategy execution: forecast, plan, and deliver commercial targets.
  • Cross-functional alignment: coordinate Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations for cohesive performance.
  • Data-driven on-site optimization: improve journeys, conversions, and KPI attainment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the department trading strategy, including forecasting, planning, and delivery of commercial targets
  • Align cross-functional teams (Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations) to drive cohesive trading performance
  • Optimise on-site experience and merchandising to improve customer journeys and conversion rates
  • Own and deliver the trading calendar, ensuring successful execution of key campaigns and peak moments
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimise stock levels, maximise sales opportunities, and achieve key KPIs
  • Build stakeholder engagement and lead a high-performing ecommerce team while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an Ecommerce or Fashion Merchandising role
  • Relevant qualification in a business, commerce or fashion related subject, or equivalent experience
  • Strong data management and analytical skills, with proven ability of leveraging data to drive commercial results
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and self-prioritise workload where needed
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying commercial opportunities and areas for process improvement
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, guide and mentor while ensuring the team achieves its goals
  • Demonstrated experience of being a collaborative team player
