Job Summary

Own regulatory risk management for marketing, translating ASA and telecom rules into practical guidance for campaigns and cross‑functional teams.

  • Compliance governance: maintain an ASA/Ofcom aligned framework with audits, evidence, and training.
  • Channel-wide review: ensure messaging across digital, print, broadcast, and partners stays accurate and non misleading.
  • Early guidance: advise on compliant positioning and claims in campaign planning to balance risk and commercial aims.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review all marketing campaigns, promotional messaging, Press releases, Social Media and advertising creative prior to release.
  • Ensure compliance with ASA/CAP Code, particularly in areas such as:
  • - Pricing claims (e.g. annual price increases, discounts, bundles)
  • - Promotional claims (e.g. “best in class,” “most reliable”)
  • Approve, reject, or recommend amendments to ensure messages are accurate, clear, and not misleading.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on ASA advertising standards and telecom-specific advertising rules.
  • Propose and identify appropriate supporting evidence to substantiate marketing claims.
  • Interpret and apply regulatory updates to ongoing and future campaigns.
  • Maintain a compliance framework aligned with ASA and Ofcom requirements.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Brand and Product teams to ensure compliance is embedded in campaign development.
  • Provide clear, pragmatic guidance that balances compliance with commercial objectives.
