Job Description

Responsibilities

Leads the state's marketing team, providing direction, support, and coaching.
Manages hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for field team members.
Oversees HR-related matters, including team development and mentoring.
Oversees the state's marketing budget, approving and tracking field team expenses.
Manages company credit card usage for necessary purchases (e.g., travel, hotel stays).
Develops and implements marketing strategies in collaboration with the Sales team and Field Marketing Supervisor.
Monitors and analyzes field team activities to optimize in-store activations, promotions, and product sell-through rates.
Provides weekly reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and Sales Managers, covering various metrics and updates.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date accrual sheets for field team data and statistics.
Works closely with Warehouse Managers to ensure timely distribution of marketing materials.
Collaborates with Sales Regionals to support promotional efforts and sales objectives.

Requirements

Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading field teams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate across various departments.
Analytical skills for making data-driven decisions and enhancing marketing effectiveness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite for reporting and project management.
Strong collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Budget management experience.
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration preferred.
5+ years of experience in field marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving brand visibility and engagement.
3+ years of experience in sales forecasting and reporting, with a data-driven approach to strategy.
2+ years of experience managing and leading field teams.
Experience in the cannabis industry or other regulated industries is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in marketing technologies and CRM systems.
