Job Summary

Own field outreach to retailers in a defined territory, driving program awareness, merchant education, and in-store activation while hitting coverage goals and reporting to Retail Operations.

Field ownership: visit 22–35 stores daily to educate, placemake, and collect merchant feedback.
Merchant enablement: train retailers on products and program benefits, answer questions, and address concerns.
Measurement and reporting: track visits, document activity, and report back to leadership against territory goals.

Job Description

Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner
Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits
Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence
Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store
Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems
Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met
Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer
Drive merchant awareness within your assigned territory
Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees
Attempt to place point of purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business

This position requires a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
Reliable transportation within assigned territory

Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer-facing experience is a plus
