Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead marketing strategy and integrated marketing initiatives; translate organizational priorities into marketing strategies, annual plans, campaigns, budgets, timelines, and measurable objectives.
Lead and execute cross-functional marketing projects, establishing priorities, workflows, timelines, responsibilities, and accountability while coordinating with staff across the organization.
Support Investor Relations by coordinating fulfillment of marketing benefits for confirmed investors and sponsors; not a direct fundraising role.
Lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept through evaluation for events and initiatives.
Develop campaign strategies, creative briefs, project timelines, production schedules, channel plans, and deliverables.
Determine marketing channels and tactics based on objectives, audiences, resources, and data.
Collaborate with Digital Communications Manager and staff to oversee campaign execution across web, email, social media, digital advertising, print, PR, and other channels.
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure campaigns meet deadlines and budgets.
Establish and maintain efficient campaign planning, creative development, review, approval, and reporting processes.
Develop strategies to grow awareness and engagement among priority audiences; manage relationships with participating businesses.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, with demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
Demonstrated experience managing marketing budgets, vendors, external partners, and multiple concurrent projects.
Experience using marketing analytics, audience insights, and performance data to evaluate campaigns and inform strategy.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends, as required to perform essential job duties.

Preferred

Experience working in nonprofit, destination marketing organization, hospitality/tourism organization, arts or cultural organization, or similarly mission-driven environment is preferred.
Experience marketing a place, destination, organization, event portfolio, community, or similarly multifaceted brand is a plus.

Benefits

The hiring range is $80,000 - $87,000 with a generous benefits package.
