Job Description

Responsibilities

owning key parts of our content and social workflow—both on-site and day-to-day.
Attend and support 1 shoot per week at NYC restaurants/bars (iPhone and/or pro camera)
Capture high-quality footage (BTS, lifestyle, food/drink, creator-style content)
Support lighting/audio setup (when needed) to produce clean, professional results
Help maintain shoot checklists and ensure we leave with enough usable footage for weekly deliverables
Create and edit Reels + TikToks (short-form video) for agency and/or client-style mock content
Produce 3–4 short-form videos/week (typical target; may vary based on shoot schedule)
Use IG/TikTok best practices informed by algorithm research, trend monitoring, and performance insights

Requirements

Based in NYC and can reliably be on-site in Manhattan (shoots + occasional in-person work)
Experience shooting high-quality content on an iPhone + Professional Camera (framing, exposure, movement, composition - photo & video on both iPhone & Pro Camera)
Comfortable editing short-form video for IG/TikTok (native tools or apps)
Strong understanding of IG/TikTok trends (hooks, pacing, sounds, formats)
Extremely organized, timeline-oriented, and responsive
Experience shooting with a pro camera (Sony/Canon/etc.)
Experience using professional lighting + audio equipment
Familiar with tools like CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.
Experience with Wix

Preferred

Experience with Gamma
Marketing/Photography/Videography/Communications major (sophomore/junior preferred)
Interest in performance metrics, testing, and “why content works”
