Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Identify emerging trends and innovative content opportunities.
Plan, schedule, and publish timely, mission-aligned content.
Write clear, compelling copy aligned with the YMCA’s brand voice.
Edit and proofread all content for accuracy and consistency.
Develop and edit written copy for marketing materials including flyers, signage, program promotions, and digital communications.
Support program directors in developing promotional materials such as flyers, signage, digital graphics, and communications that promote YMCA programs, events, and initiatives.
Capture and produce high-quality, engaging photo and video content.
Work independently in the field to identify storytelling opportunities.
Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media or digital content creation.
Strong writing, editing, storytelling, interviewing, and listening skills.
Experience with photography, videography, and editing software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understands that the YMCA is a public accommodation committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Bloodborne Pathogens Training (or equivalent approved by the YMCA)
Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Certification
