Job Summary

Own contributions across design systems, in‑app product design, lifecycle CRM, and platform‑native content while collaborating with strategy and account teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality visuals and leverage AI-assisted workflows.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Global design systems — Support the maintenance and application of design systems and component libraries, helping keep Uber's work consistent and on-brand across markets and platforms.
Product & in-app design — Assist in designing in-app experiences, flows, and feature moments alongside senior product and UX partners.
CRM & lifecycle — Support the design of lifecycle and CRM creative across email, push, and in-app messaging.
Social & content-native — Create social-first, platform-native content and assets under the guidance of senior creatives.
AI shoots & generative imagery — Assist with AI-assisted and generative content — helping develop prompts and learning to guide generative output alongside more senior team members.
Craft & consistency — Build strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, and visual quality, with guidance from senior designers.
Collaboration — Partner with strategy, copy, and account teams, and actively seek feedback to grow your craft.

Requirements

Early career: 1–4 years of design experience, with a portfolio that shows range or strong potential across product/digital and brand/marketing.
Eager to learn systems: Curious about design systems and component-based thinking, even if you haven't worked in one professionally yet.
Detail-oriented: Strong fundamentals in typography, composition, color, and layout, with a genuine eye for craft and a hunger to sharpen it.
Platform-familiar: Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with motion tools (e.g., After Effects) a plus.
Coachable: Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly; excited to grow into product and digital design work.
Curious about AI tools: Interested in learning generative and AI-assisted production tools and how they fit into a creative workflow.
Organized & collaborative: Manages your own tasks reliably, communicates clearly, and thrives working alongside a team.

Preferred

Coursework, internship, or personal projects involving global or multi-market brands.
Exposure to product/app design.
Motion, 3D, or emerging-format interest.
Any hands-on experimentation with generative imagery tools.
