Job Summary

Own the content and media backbone for a process-technology brand, shaping messaging across press, social, internal comms, and events to drive consistent, credible coverage.

Content and Media: Own messaging across external and internal channels and build durable media relationships.
Social and Events: Drive social programs and event communications to sustain engagement and brand voice.
Crisis and Strategy: Manage strategic communications with a focus on brand reputation in fast paced settings.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and produce high-quality content for press releases, social posts, memos, newsletters, and byline articles.
Ensure messaging and brand voice consistency across all communications.
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists.
Coordinate media inquiries and prepare materials for media outreach.
Manage and grow Process Technology social media with engaging content and responsive monitoring.
Analyze social media metrics to optimize performance.
Support internal communications for employees and collaborate with HR on organizational changes.
Promote organizational changes and achievements via internal channels.
Assist in executing Process Technology events, including launches and trade shows.
Develop promotional materials for events and ensure communication before, during, and after.

Requirements

Over 2 years of proven experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related role.
Over 2 years with experience in writing, editing, and verbal communication.
Proficiency in LinkedIn postings and analytics tools.
Able to convert complex language and content into simple communications.
Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation is a plus.
Strong expertise in media relations and crisis communication to effectively manage the company’s public image.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies that enhance brand reputation.
Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
Experience in the technology or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Excellent storytelling and content creation skills to engage diverse audiences.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders.
