Job Summary

Own the multi-channel marketing and PR plan for the Kroc Center, driving brand, content, and community engagement across website, social, email, and events.

Growth & Outreach: Lead cross-channel campaigns, content production, and PR to boost awareness and attendance.
Customer Experience: Align comms tools and channels to optimize the member journey and event promotion.
Measurement & Ops: Track campaign metrics, coordinate vendors, and enable department requests with timely collateral.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop a multi-channel marketing, branding, and public relations plan in collaboration with Kroc Center Leadership.
Write, design, and manage the production of internal and external marketing collateral, including print, digital, and social media content.
Stay updated with digital marketing trends, using this knowledge to enhance the Kroc Center's online presence and execute campaigns across platforms such as the website, social media, and email.
Track data and metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve performance.
Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., printers, mail distribution) to ensure timely and accurate production of promotional materials.
Utilize all available communications tools to optimize the customer journey of Kroc Center members, program participants, church congregants, and other guests.
Manage content updates for the website and execute social media strategies, along with other public-facing systems such as the phone network, online registration system, mobile apps, etc.
Create and maintain internal printed and digital signage, external digital displays, and printed collateral including schedules of recurring classes, programs, and events.
Work with the membership and program teams to solicit, evaluate, and act upon customer inquiries and feedback.
Coordinate with all departments to process, prioritize, and execute requests for marketing support and collateral.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations or another related field, with a minimum of 2 years experience in communications or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
English writing ability; preferred ability to communicate in Spanish
Ability to write with versatility
Ability to work independently with limited supervision under tight deadlines
Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current
Have CPR/AED/First Aid or obtain within 45 days
Must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)

Preferred

Project management and knowledge management skills preferred
Spanish language ability (preferred)
