Job Description
The Servant Leader Intern (SLI) role supports a six-week summer program for K-12 scholars, focusing on literacy, civics, culture, and community building.
Reporting to the Site Coordinator, interns lead activities, perform chants and cheers, and foster leadership, civic engagement, and joy among students.
They build relationships with scholars and families, work within a diverse team, and connect learning to community action.
Required training includes virtual and in-person sessions, with program dates from July 6 to August 14, 2026.
Ideal candidates are college or teaching professionals, passionate about youth, justice, and movement, comfortable being expressive, and available for full-time shifts.
Stipends range from $5,000 to $6,000.
This in-person role involves physical and environmental demands, including travel within Westchester, and requires commitment to training and program schedules.
