Own end-to-end sponsored content programs from concept to delivery, aligning editorial integrity with sponsor objectives across fashion, beauty, and tech insights, while coordinating with sales, design, and FMG teams to manage timelines and performance.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Write and edit engaging, high-quality sponsored content including native articles and stories, research reports, multimedia content hubs, video, podcasts and social.
- Content will be focused on, but not limited to, thought leadership and consumer insights around fashion apparel, retail, beauty, luxury goods, accessories, textiles, as well as the technologies that support these segments.
- Source interviews, conduct market research, and identify industry trends, such as changes in consumer behavior, emerging technologies such as generative AI, and the impact of macro-economic forces on business.
- Understand and protect the editorial integrity and sophisticated aesthetic and standards of the Fairchild brands while satisfying sponsor messaging objectives.
- Partner closely with ad sales, marketing design, and FMG brand editorial teams to pitch and execute campaigns; Lead the creative editorial vision for each project in collaboration with all teams
- Manage timelines, asset delivery, and revision cycles for multiple custom content projects simultaneously.
- Apply SEO best practices and analyze engagement metrics to report on content performance and audience retention.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional writing/editing experience, specifically with B2B focus within the fashion apparel, retail, beauty, and related segments
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to distill market trends, assess the content needs of sponsors and work under strict deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage several projects at once and work under tight deadlines.
- Well-versed in digital strategy, analytics, and SEO best practices
- A passion for fashion apparel, retail, beauty, and technology
