CMS Website Designer — $25/hour | The Cover Network

About the Role

The Cover Network is a digital marketing agency serving mid-market businesses. We move fast and we expect our tools — and our people — to keep up. We're looking for a CMS Website Designer who lives in WordPress and Joomla, knows how to leverage AI to work smarter and faster, and can jump into an existing site and hit the ground running.

What You'll Do

• Update and expand existing WordPress and Joomla websites — adding pages, sections, and content within established designs and brand standards
• Build out new pages that match the look, feel, and structure of existing sites without disrupting what's already working
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) to accelerate copywriting, code generation, troubleshooting, and design decisions
• Produce clean, functional work quickly — turnaround speed is a real expectation here
• Coordinate with the strategy team to ensure page builds align with campaign and client goals

What You Bring

• Solid hands-on experience with WordPress and Joomla — you know your way around both without needing hand-holding
• Active, confident use of AI tools as part of your daily workflow — not occasional, not experimental
• Ability to match existing design systems and brand guidelines without starting from scratch
• Fast, accurate execution — you understand that in today's environment, speed and quality aren't mutually exclusive
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to troubleshoot and refine when builders fall short
