Preferred locations are Dallas, TX, Walnut Creek, CA, Sacramento, CA, Houston, TX. Must be located by one of these 3 offices to go on site 2 days a week. Description There is a Sr. Messaging engineer on the team already. They need this resource to jump in rather quickly. Need to be a good culture fit; clear communication and upbeat personality. Required experience: Exchange online Purview Defender Intune- Specifically MDM Understand how to troubleshoot mail flow Understanding internet mail routes The Messaging Engineer shall be responsible for the following tasks: Architect, monitor, and fine-tune Microsoft Exchange Online infrastructure for peak performance. The Messaging Engineer should have a solid understanding of Microsoft Purview, particularly its capabilities for data cataloging, data classification, and compliance management. This knowledge will enable them to integrate Purview effectively with messaging platforms to ensure data security and governance. Guarantee a robust, secure, and accessible electronic messaging ecosystem. Deploy, configure, and resolve issues for Exchange servers within a hybrid setup. Address message delivery and security challenges within our messaging solutions. Craft and execute PowerShell scripts to streamline administrative tasks. Transition on-premises Public Folders, Shared mailboxes, and distribution groups to Exchange Online or M365 Groups. Offer expert-level support for email or mobile-related queries from end-users. Work in tandem with the Applications Support team to resolve email and mobile device concerns. Conduct regular patching and updates to ensure messaging servers are up-to-date.
