Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and drafting social media content aligned with WOCOTM’s mission and campaigns
• Create engaging posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
• Schedule posts using approved social media tools
• Monitor comments and messages and flag inquiries to staff as appropriate
• Support promotion of events, programs, and fundraising initiatives
• Track basic engagement metrics and share insights with the team
• Collaborate with staff and other volunteers to ensure consistent messaging

Requirements

• Passion for social justice, nonprofit work, and community empowerment
• Basic knowledge of major social media platforms
• Strong written communication skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
• able to know Microsoft 365/ know how to used Ai
• Time Commitment 5–10 hours per week (flexible)

Preferred

• Previous social media or digital marketing experience is a plus, but not required
