Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Performance Analyst with capturing, clipping, and editing video content from training sessions and matches
- Set up and maintain video analysis software, ensuring video and data files are properly integrated and organized for review
- Create detailed video playlists tailored to individual player development, team performance, and opposition scouting
- Strong understanding of soccer tactics and game strategy.
- Comfortable working with video editing and analysis tools to prepare meaningful and visually clear presentations
- Previous experience with video analysis software.
- Interest or background in data analytics, sports science, or performance analysis is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.
- Available 20-25 hours per week.
- The understanding that working in sports is different than being a fan. This position does not guarantee candidates will be able to watch games. Many valuable positions within the organization are behind the scenes, and they provide little ability to watch the games.
Nashville SC joined Major League Soccer on Feb. 29, 2020 in front of the largest attendance ever recorded for a soccer match in the state of Tennessee. The Boys in Gold again qualified for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in both 2022 and 2023, becoming just the third team in league history to reach the postseason during the team's first four years in existence. Nashville SC inaugurated GEODIS Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada, in front of a sellout crowd of 30,109 on May 1, 2022.
