Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and understand their preferences.
- Set marketing goals and objectives aligned with the overall park strategy.
- Develop a cohesive marketing mix encompassing advertising, public relations, social media, digital marketing, and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing initiatives for new attractions, products,, services, events, and seasonal offerings.
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets:
- Allocate resources effectively across various marketing channels.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance using data and metrics.
- Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Lead and build a high-performing marketing team:
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive, results-driven experience in executive-level marketing, with significant leadership background in the theme park, hospitality, or a related high-volume entertainment industry. A minimum of 5 years serving in a senior management or director-level capacity, demonstrating experience in leading and mentoring large, multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a strong preference for MBA.
- Proven Track Record: Success in developing and executing enterprise-wide marketing strategies that directly drive attendance, revenue growth, and brand equity.
- Strategic Data Interpretation: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex marketing data and performance metrics into actionable strategic insights that guide major campaign adjustments and drive overall business objectives.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills required to effectively influence C-suite decisions, motivate large, diverse teams, and translate strategic goals into clear, executable plans.
- Strategic Vision and Consumer Foresight: Possesses a visionary and creative outlook alongside a deep, data-driven understanding of global consumer behavior trends and the competitive dynamics of the theme park industry, ensuring long-term market advantage.

Circuit of The Americas is a world-class motorsports and entertainment venue in Texas, located nine miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and less than 15 miles from downtown Austin.Circuit of The Americas is more than a track – it is designed to be the only purpose-built facility in the U.S. to host the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIXTM through 2026. It will be the only FIA-certified Grade 1 track in the United States, and one of only 26 Grade 1-certified motorsports facilities in the world.The venue is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the world and be seen by approximately 30 million television viewers across the globe for the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIXTM while also hosting dozens of high-profile motorsports (MotoGP and NASCAR), entertainment and business events each year. COTA will also serve as a leader in sustainability as it relates to major event venues and motorsports, through high-performance operations, design, research, education and partnerships.The FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIXTM will attract as many as 400,000 people each Grand Prix weekend, with an estimated 80 percent of attendees coming from outside Texas.
