Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Currently, we are searching for an experienced Account Supervisor or Vice President who is ready to take their career to the next level.
  • We’re looking for a creative thinker and business strategist who has a deep understanding of the healthcare sector, strong media connections, and the desire to collaborate with clients and brands to advance their businesses.
  • The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where team members are asked to adapt quickly to a changing media landscape while working with reporters across a variety of beats.
  • We value self-starters with curious minds and a good sense of humor who hold client service in the highest regard.
  • Smart, energetic, and savvy account leader with sophisticated media relations expertise, creative thinking, and "digital chops" looking to join our rapidly expanding team.
  • Ability to analyze data, distill insights, and translate that data into strategies that set the stage for communications programming.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • We work closely with DKC’s other groups, including Sports, Public Affairs, Media Tech, Entertainment, Hospitality, Data/Analytics, and our creative shop, Hangar4.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience working at a PR agency and/or an in-house communications team
  • Experience across relevant client sectors , including Healthcare, Health, Wellness, Pharma, Non-Profit, Telehealth, and Business
  • An understanding of, and/or experience working with , consumer and business-focused healthcare companies that reach both B2C and B2B audiences
  • A deep understanding of, and connections with, key media across the healthcare space, including business, consumer, and trade, and the ability to foster new and significant media and industry relationships
  • Smart, energetic, and savvy account leader with sophisticated media relations expertise, creative thinking, and "digital chops"
  • Ability to analyze data, distill insights, and translate that data into strategies that set the stage for communications programming
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • In-office 3 days a week, hybrid work model
