Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule content for department social media platforms.
• Create graphics, flyers, digital signage, and promotional materials using approved university branding guidelines.
• Capture photos and videos of classes, labs, student activities, internships, clinical experiences, athletic training activities, and special events.
• Assist in promoting department programs, field experiences, and events.
• Highlight faculty, student, and alumni achievements through social media and department communications.
• Support department efforts to recruit prospective students and increase program awareness.
• Assist with marketing campaigns designed to increase visibility of KHP programs both on and off campus.
• Help showcase student learning experiences, research projects, field experiences, and community engagement activities.
• Support recruitment events, campus visits, and other outreach activities.
• Assist with maintaining department bulletin boards, digital displays, and promotional materials.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled VCSU student in good academic standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to representing the department positively.

Preferred

• Experience with graphic design programs such as Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar tools, or willingness to learn.
• Experience creating social media content, photography, or video editing.
• Knowledge of KHP programs.
• Interest in marketing, communications, exercise science & rehabilitative studies, sport leadership & management, health & physical education, and strength & conditioning.
