Unity Developer Intern (Paid Internship) Plutonic is redefining mental health support through our immersive virtual therapy platform. We’re looking for a creative Unity Developer Intern to help build and enhance the virtual worlds where healing and problem solving happens between a client and therapist. The internship duration is negotiable with ideal work hours of around 10 hours per week. This is a hybrid position with at least 1 in person meeting per week. Company Plutonic is a mental health services company pioneering a virtual therapy platform to defeat our younger generations mental health challenges. We provide interactive virtual safe spaces used for therapy. Our virtual spaces are integrated with teleconferencing features such as message chat, screen share and video conferencing. Position Summary As a Developer Intern, you’ll work directly with our founder and engineers to build and update Unity-based therapy spaces. This internship focuses on virtual space development using the Unity Game Engine. Responsibilities This role may provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress in your career, these responsibilities include some of the following: · Work closely with co-founders, software engineers and consultants with ability to see all aspects of the company’s technology platform. · Work within the Unity game engine to develop and update virtual worlds, avatars and client + therapist features. · Learn about networking tools such as Photon Engine. · Help explore and implement new ways to blend animations and AI into therapy spaces. · Assist with other integration needs across the platform. Qualifications · 1+ years required development experience in Unity Game Engine. · Solid knowledge of C#. Ability to write and update scripts. · Creative mindset and comfort working in early-stage environments. Compensation Hourly rate of $16
