Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of Buying Days across the U.S. and Canada.
- Plan and execute Trunk Shows, Buying Group events, regional customer events and Roadshows.
- Develop event plans, timelines and budgets from initial brief through completion.
- Research and recommend venues based on event objectives, location, budget and customer experience.
- Coordinate venue contracts, catering, entertainment, audiovisual needs and other event vendors.
- Manage invitations, RSVP processes and attendee communications.
- Coordinate event materials, promotional items, displays and other required assets with internal partners.
- Serve as the primary project lead for assigned events and oversee on-site execution.
- Partner with Sales teams to understand regional needs and develop appropriate customer-facing programs.
- Conduct post-event follow-up, budget reconciliation and event recaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, Event Management or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Event Marketing, Experiential Marketing, Field Marketing, Design/Brand Activation or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing customer events, trade shows or experiential programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, timelines and event logistics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Sales teams, vendors and cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools is a plus.
- SAP and HubSpot experience are assets.
- French language proficiency is a plus.
- Approximately 20–30% travel throughout North America. Regular travel within the United States and Canada to support customer events and Trade Marketing programs. Valid passport required. Some evening or extended hours may be required during events and installations.
