Ascend is hiring a confident, camera-ready Live Shopping Host to represent a leading luxury sunglasses client on TikTok Shop Live. This role is focused on presenting and selling designer sunglasses and eyewear through engaging, high-energy livestreams.

We are looking for someone who is naturally strong on camera, understands how to hold attention, and can communicate the value, style, and quality of luxury fashion products in a way that feels authentic and entertaining.

What You’ll Do

• Host live shopping sessions primarily through TikTok Shop
• Showcase and demonstrate luxury and designer sunglasses
• Explain product features, styling, fit, materials, and overall value
• Engage with viewers in real time and answer product questions
• Create urgency around promotions, offers, and featured products
• Maintain strong energy and presentation throughout each livestream
• Learn and follow proven live-selling scripts, systems, and conversion strategies
• Work closely with the Ascend team to improve livestream performance
• Stay informed on luxury fashion, eyewear trends, and featured products

Requirements

• Must be highly comfortable and engaging in front of the camera
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of TikTok Shop, TikTok Live, or live social commerce
• Genuine familiarity with the fashion and luxury niche
• Ability to confidently present premium and designer products
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a consistent in-person schedule
• Must be able to commute reliably to Williamsburg, Brooklyn
• Proximity to Williamsburg is strongly preferred due to the importance of being on time for scheduled livestreams
• Ability to work 5 days per week, approximately 4 hours per day

Training

A 2-week in-person training program will be provided by an experienced, high-performing TikTok Shop Live expert. Training will cover live-selling strategy, viewer engagement, product presentation, conversion techniques, TikTok Shop best practices, and livestream execution.

Compensation

Pay starts at $32/hour.

Compensation may be negotiated upward for candidates with an exceptional background in areas such as TikTok Shop Live, luxury retail, fashion, sales, content creation, livestreaming, or on-camera hosting.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal person is polished but energetic, understands luxury positioning, and can make a livestream feel entertaining rather than scripted. We want someone who can build trust quickly, make products look desirable on camera, and confidently guide viewers toward a purchase.

Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion content creation, livestreaming, TikTok Shop, sales, modeling, hosting, or social media is a strong plus.
