Job Description

Responsibilities

Help prep and run TikTok Live sessions: set up the studio, queue products, manage the session console, and assist hosts in real time
Pull and organize product info, talking points, and promotional details ahead of each session
Capture session notes and flag standout moments, technical issues, or audience feedback for follow-up
Source and outreach to potential TikTok Shop affiliates and influencer partners using platform tools and external databases
Manage day-to-day affiliate communications: respond to inbound creator inquiries, send sample requests, track shipments, and follow up post-delivery
Maintain the affiliate roster and contact log; keep status, terms, and performance notes up to date
Help coordinate creator briefs, talking points, and FDA-compliant claim guidelines for partner content
Manage and moderate our TikTok Shop–adjacent communities on Discord and WhatsApp, welcome new members, answer common questions, and surface emerging themes to the team
Engage with comments and DMs across TikTok Live and TikTok Shop content in an on-brand, helpful tone
Flag escalations (customer complaints, compliance concerns, PR-sensitive feedback) to the TikTok Associate promptly

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s program (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred, but not required)
Strong working knowledge of TikTok as a platform, you use it, understand the trends, and have a sense of what good content looks like
Excellent written communication; comfortable representing a brand in DMs, comments, and community channels
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, you follow through on small tasks without being chased
Working proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, pivot tables)
Curious and proactive — you flag problems early and bring ideas, not just questions
Local to NYC and able to work in-person at our office near Washington Square Park

Preferred

Personal interest in fitness, nutrition, supplements, or broader wellness
Prior internship or hands-on experience in e-commerce, social media, influencer marketing, or content production
Familiarity with TikTok Shop, TikTok Live, or affiliate platforms
Experience moderating or building Discord servers, WhatsApp groups, or other online communities
Comfort with basic data tools (Google Sheets pivot tables, simple charting); bonus for any exposure to BI tools or SQL
