Position Overview
Working with the EOS Corporate Marketing team and the hotel General Manager, the Taskforce Director of Marketing is responsible for the overarching strategy and day-to-day implementation of marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Owning every step from concept to implementation, the Director of Marketing provides creative vision, shapes operational frameworks, and ensures success across advertising, public relations, experiential marketing, and brand management for all hotel and outlet projects.
This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. This position will be based out of one of our properties in the eastern region of the United States.
Job Functions
  • Spearhead a cohesive annual marketing plan aligned with overall business objectives and market research
  • Direct marketing strategy for special projects, launches, and big picture initiatives
  • Analyze business performance and changing market dynamics to inform strategic pivots
  • Build brand experiences, events, and promotions to drive sales
  • Oversee and guide digital marketing (website, content, SEO, SEM, social media, email), evaluating performance and identifying needs and opportunities
  • Manage media relations and partnerships with PR agency
  • Evaluate marketing performance based on key performance indicators and ROI
  • Develop guest experience strategies, and make improvements based on guest feedback
  • Drive development of messaging, branding, collateral, and photography, and ensure consistency across touchpoints
  • Position hotels as local and industry leaders and represent properties at community events
  • Maintain relationships and communication with key partners across the organization to build consensus and alignment
  • Conduct marketing calls, prepare marketing briefs, and produce routine reporting for stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor team, recruit, train, and develop team members
  • Create and manage marketing budget
Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles within the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically on multiple projects
  • Familiarity with common hospitality systems and strong understanding of consumer digital marketing trends, analytics, and tools
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communicator and pro-active about sharing plans and results
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate with a team: displays self-confidence, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and strong guest service orientation
  • Effective in complex, multi-stakeholder, deadline-driven environments
  • Able to travel frequently to visit properties, manage photo/video shoots, meet with contacts, and drive marketing agendas
