About Us
CliquePrize® is a U.S.-based mobile app helping small businesses (called Sponsors) attract local customers (called Contestants) through giveaways, video contests, raffles, and surveys. Our iPhone mobile app connects local residents with brick & mortar small businesses using Apple location services, enabling small businesses to grow their customer base through database list marketing.
Responsibilities
As a non-paid (Academic Credit only) Swift iOS Mobile Developer Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both mobile development and data operations:
- Mobile App Maintenance: Maintain and update our iOS app (Swift), including bug fixes, SDK updates, performance improvements, and minor feature adjustments;
- NoMachine.com & Tailscale.com Access: Code base will be managed on in-office MAC in Nashville, TN and accessed remotely via NoMachine and Tailscale; no local copies of SWIFT code will be permitted.
- Maintain Branch.io Redirects: Maintain Branch updates including offers, sign-ups, Bullseye! screens and other various deep links with the CliquePrize® iOS Mobile App
- Code Adjustments: Report directly to the CEO on project progress, deliverables, and challenges. Will collaborate with other SWIFT Developers on updates to Offers, Push Notifications (Email & SMS) and backend API architecture end point adjustments
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Swift for iOS development
- Strong understanding of MySQL, Azure, GitHub, and middleware tools
- Familiarity with headless CMS (Storyblok preferred) and Azure Web Static App hosting
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and mobile app data integration
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills; comfortable collaborating via Slack and video calls
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
